Diagnosing TTR-FAP: Creating meaningful dialogue between
sales person and HCP

The challenge

There was a need to organise all the disparate information relating to the disease in a logical and easily navigable structure, so that the sales consultant could rapidly access the relevant information whilst in-call. Secondly, the content itself had to be presented in an engaging way yet still reflect the professional and independent authority of normal clinical research documents.

The solution

The information was structured in a visually interesting and easily navigable iPad app, that enabled the market access team to have informed conversations with healthcare professionals. The relevant background information on the rare disease was at their fingertips, including interviews with leading clinicians, clinical information charts, diagnostic videos and anatomical diagrams showing affected organs.

The outcome

Within a few months of the initial trial in the UK market, the app rolled out across Europe in five languages and was widely used by the client’s sales and market access teams. We received favourable feedback from many users, who for the first time, had a single source of easy-to-use information relating to their specialist area.
