The challenge
Our client approached us with the challenge of demonstrating the patient outcome and financial benefits of their product to the payor, over a longer investment horizon. Our task was to create a method of communicating this concisely.
A well-designed budget impact model visualises complex cost/benefit analyses. Detailed spreadsheets are less engaging than our BIMs that combine the value story and the model into one seamless experience.
The solution
We created an app which allowed the payor to interact with the sales process. Combining the value story and the model into one application had a number of significant advantages:
- The payor was able to interact with a clear presentation of the clinical evidence, highlighting the patient
- The sales consultant used treatment pathway templates within the app to capture the physician’s current methods for comparison.
- The critical summary chart was an engaging infographic that effectively communicated the product’s key benefits through clear and bold visuals.
Despite the complexity of the underlying model, this app became a highly relied upon resource continuing to benefit both patient and Payor organisation.
